This is a good website because it gives an up to date description of Sedaris' accomplishments without going into in depth details about irrelevant details such as his birth city.  As well, on another page of the site, there are links to other videos of Sedaris so students would receive more opportunities to see him perform.



Teaching Satire to Students: http://teachingsatire.pbworks.com/whatissatire

This will benefit students who are uncertain of exactly what Sedaris is doing within his autobiography.  If they do not know what satire is, what it means, or how an author might utilize it, browsing through this site will help them to understand the humor behind his words a little better.

This is a really good link because it gives an idea of what Sedaris actually sounds and looks like, allowing students to visualize him.  It also provides a fairly G-rated example of the humor he utilizes throughout the text.
